England Ice Hockey, the NIHL and its member clubs are pleased to reveal the fixture lists for our regional leagues – NIHL 1 & 2 in the North and South.

These four divisions have 41 teams the length and breadth of the country playing to some of the most dedicated fanbases in the sport.

After a thrilling end to 23/24 with playoff weekends in Sheffield and Alexandra Palace, the puck drops once again in the NIHL 1&2 at the end of August for another exciting campaign. All four divisions have a league cup competition alongside the league championship with two legged semi-finals in January and two legged finals in February.

Regular season play ends in March when the post-season kicks in, with each division sending two teams to the Play Off Finals at a central venue in April.

The divisional playoff finals will take place on the Saturday before national playoff champions will be crowned on the Sunday.

It all adds up to almost eight months of NIHL hockey and you can start planning your season now with the release of the fixture list for each division. Where there are TBA fixtures we are working with clubs and venues to resolve these as quickly as possible.

NIHL GM Haydn Hunter commented: “It’s been great working with the teams this summer to prepare for the new season, and the fixture release is the latest step towards dropping the puck in the autumn. We’re excited by the prospect of true national playoff champions this season with the new structure, we’re grateful to the clubs for supporting it and giving it a chance to become something special. I think the whole NIHL is in a good place and can’t wait to get the games on!”
